Singing in a mass choir (it could have easily been a 'mess' choir with over 200 singers trying to squeeze in to the confines of an undersized stage riser) last night at the Civic Center was a wonderful experience (thank you Dr. Chris Mathews and crew for your musical leadership).
I was on the last row and our chairs were only about six inches from the back edge. One false move and it could have been a disaster .. much like this:

rev the lesson here is don't take your "good Bible" to outdoor weddings. You never know when you'll be swimmin' with the bride to a chorus of "oh my god"
