Tonight's YY (Youth of Yesterday) program at church will feature the music and comedy of Kisner and Hamilton. Yes, that's right. Bro. Bill and RevKev are back .. and we're "badder than ever" (if you don't believe me, come and see for yourself .. we didn't rehearse).
In 2000, Bro. Bill and I were "featured" at our church-wide (no narrow people allowed) Valentine Banquet at FBC. That night is indelibly etched in my mind (and in the minds of the rest of the crowd, for that matter) because we ended the program with no pants on (there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for this .. which I may or may not share at a later time).
To say "you never know what Bill and Kevin will do" is an understatement. This is because Bill and Kevin "never know what Bill and Kevin will do."
When you think of comedy duos, a few names come to mind.
Laurel and Hardy .. Abbott and Costello .. Martin and Lewis .. Rowan and Martin .. Hannity and Colmes.
Well, you can add Kisner and Hamilton to that list.
We may not be the best, but we do have at least one advantage over the majority of names on that list.
