Big ... Daddy ... Weave

Tonight at seven o'clock. Big Daddy Weave (don't you just love the name?) will be in concert at First Baptist Church, Humboldt. Rush of Fools (the band, not the name given to last minute ticket buyers) will be there, as well. If you bought tickets in advance, you payed $10 to $12. They are $15 at the door.

Since FBC hosts the Christian Concert Series at the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival each year, we get quite a few calls about having concerts. We are large enough to hold a good number of concert goers, but not so large that the crowd gets "lost" if ticket sales don't go as projected.

Gospel quartets, contemporary artists, soloists, bands, monster truck rally organizers .. you name it. They all call us.

This concert is sponsored by American Family Radio (as opposed to Italian Adult-Only Radio) and is part of the band's "What Life Would Be Like" tour. It's a big deal and they are going to be right here in Humboldt, TN.

If you failed (that sounds like something Darth Vader would say just before killing a high ranking officer who disappointed him) to buy tickets and are free tonight, come on. Purchase them at the door and see what all the hype is about.

I'll be there and that's worth at least a couple of bucks.
